My name is Rachel Brittner, and I am from the San Francisco Bay Area. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I attended a Montessori charter school for nine years that was very similar to Mountain West Montessori, and I am so happy that I get to teach in a learning environment and with methods that I saw firsthand work for me and others.
I believe in the Montessori method and have seen its benefits. I am passionate about fostering lifelong learners and believe that every child has the potential to achieve this. When I'm not teaching, you can find me playing volleyball, snowboarding or hanging out with my nieces and nephews.
In addition to teaching, I have worked as a waitress for about five years and have a passion for that as well. I love to help people in any way I can and have found both jobs extremely rewarding. I look forward to bringing my experiences and enthusiasm to the classroom and supporting my students on their educational journeys.
