I have a passion for giving children the tools and experiences to express themselves through dance and music. I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Modern Dance with Honors from the University of Utah, where I gained a great appreciation and understanding of the importance of these art forms in every person’s development. Since graduating, I have become a mother of 3, certified as a Performing Arts Life Coach, and have enjoyed performing with local dance and theater companies. I taught Music & Movement at South Jordan Montessori Preschool the past two years and was a Kindermusik Assistant as a teen, in addition to teaching a variety of dance styles to children and youth ages 4-18 for the past decade. I am very excited to be leading the Kindergartners and Lower-Elementary students in Music & Dance this year, as well as Middle School Dance!
