My name is Sarah Mitchell and I am the new Middle School ELA teacher at Mountain West Montessori. I am originally from Alabama, but I have previously lived in Hawaii, California, and Utah at different moments in my life. Previously, I attended school at Brigham Young University Hawaii where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in English. I have worked a variety of jobs before Mountain West Montessori. Previously, I worked as an intramural referee, an English TA at BYUH, A CRLA Certified tutor, a SPED aide, a medical secretary for a neurosurgical office and many more. Anyone who knows me knows that I love the water. In my free time you can find me outside climbing rocks, rappelling, hiking, swimming, surfing, slalom skiing, wakeboarding, writing poems, eating tacos, listening to music, playing with my nieces and nephews, and participating in many other activities. I am so excited to see what my time at Mountain West Montessori will bring.
