Hi! My name is Ms. Melissa and I am excited to be the PE and Health teacher at Mountain West Montessori. I have taught PE to all grade levels and am happy to work in the middle school. I received my Bachelor degree in Kinesiology at the University of Utah, where I also received my Teaching license. I believe in providing students with the skills necessary to live a life-long physically active lifestyle beyond the realms of my classroom. I also believe that EVERY student loves some form of PE- they just might not have discovered it yet. I spend a great deal of my time doing CrossFit, reading inspirational books, and getting ready for Halloween every year!
