Hiyee, I am Ms. Kymm and recently returned to teaching after roughly a 6 year hiatus. Before that time I had been a math teacher for about 9 years. I am originally from Boston, Ma and moved to Utah in 2023. Being in a new state I figured it was time to revisit my life as a teacher and it has been a mixed bag of emotions but I am sticking with it. After 2 years teaching 6th grade, I made the move to MWMA teaching 7-9th grade math while also teaching Algebra courses at SLCC. I have also previously taught online at the college level and loved every minute of it because it allows the opportunity to reach another level of students and gives the flexibility to work on my own schedule.
Outside of teaching I am always actively bouncing around between playing sports, dancing, hiking, biking, boarding/skiing, working out at the gym, coaching basketball, road/trail racing, running my business, or just doing anything besides sitting at home.
